FAQ

Cakesicles, for us, are simply baked cake pressed into the shape of a popsicle and then dipped in the finest of chocolate. After a year of research, we determined the best combination of ingredients for the tastiest experience. 

 

We ship on Mondays and Thursdays. All orders received after 10 am EST on Sunday will be shipped out the following Thursday. All orders received after 10 am EST on Wednesday will be shipped out the following Monday. We ship out as late in the day as possible and only on certain days for the least amount of time in transit for optimal freshness. While we take many precautions prior to shipping our treats, there are, unfortunately, some factors outside of our control, including transit delays, once the package is in the hands of the USPS. Therefore, we cannot guarantee an exact date for delivery. 

We do not ship over the weekend, so orders after 10am EST on Thursday will ship out the following Monday.

After your order is sent out, you will receive a tracking number via the email that you provided. We highly encourage you to keep track of your order until it arrives. In the chance that you provide an incorrect email, your order will still be completed and shipped, but you will not receive a tracking number.

Baked by Ave is not responsible for incorrect information. Please double check the accuracy of the information you provide upon ordering including your name, suite or apartment number, if applicable, and email address. Since our products are perishable, we are not able to reship or provide a refund for orders with an incorrect or incomplete address.

We currently offer Priority shipping via USPS (1-3 days) for a flat rate of $10. There are no returns, refunds or cancellations allowed on any orders that have shipped. If you would like to revise or cancel your order prior to it being shipped, please email us immediately at bakedbyave@gmail.com 

After receiving your order, place it in the refrigerator as soon as possible. 

Every order is custom made by Avery and her team. 

We are currently offering shipping nationwide throughout all 50 U.S. states. 

We cannot ship to P.O. Box or APO/FPO addresses.

At Baked by Ave, we strive for perfection every time. However, if your product is somehow lost, damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible at bakedbyave@gmail.com. We do not offer refunds, but in one of these instances, we would be more than happy to send a replacement. 

Unfortunately, during warmer temperatures, our treats may melt in transit. If your product arrives slightly melted, it can be placed in the fridge or freezer to firm back up. If your product arrives completely melted, please email us at bakedbyave@gmail.com and we would be more than happy to send a replacement. Please keep a close eye on your tracking number to avoid the product sitting out in the heat upon arrival. 

Cocoa bombs should be stored in an airtight container at room temperature and are best used within two weeks.
